Life Lately

Two weekends ago my mom, family friend from CA (so good to see her!), and SIL went to Rent and it was EVERYTHING. I think I say this after every show, but this was my favorite.

I love, love, love the music. I have been listening to the soundtrack nonstop and G is begging for me to play Hamilton again, ha! Check out this clip of the 20th anniversary cast, amazing!

The actors were all fantastic and just mesmerizing to watch. I also really enjoyed how the show wasn't dialog - break into song - dialog. It was all singing the entire show through which is so fun. I highly recommend this show!

Winter sunrises are amazing!

We did get a bit of snow last week, but it was gorgeous.

G and I got thai food last week to celebrate one month at my new job. I can't believe it's been a month already, but it's amazing. I love it so much!

Garth surprised me with flowers last week and they make me so happy.

A coworker and I grabbed sushi together last week. So. Good.

We looked at a house on a lake last Friday night. The views were amazing, but the house foundation was really bad.

After looking at the house we went on a date night to our favorite restaurant. Susan, our favorite bar tender, was there and we talking about house hunting and she made us her famous martinis.

We shared the Smoked Salmon Pasta and it was delicious! Such a fun night.

Saturday was a day of rest and binging the newest season of How to get Away with Murder. Ahhh it's so good!!!!

Sunday morning Manny and I went for a long walk. I was totally lost in my podcast when it started down pouring and I was far from home. Bless G's heart, he picked our soaking souls up!

We cleaned up and headed to brunch. YUM! Bloody Marys are always a good idea.

I had the spinach and goat cheese omelette and it was amazing.

We did a bit more house hunting, then checked out a park and did a bit of hiking.

We ended the weekend with cocktails and dinner at a new restaurant that just opened in our town. The service, food and cocktails were all delicious. Can't wait to go back!

What a crazy fun weekend!
