Until I was listening to the Balanced Bites podcast on green smoothies. The girls shared a tip if you have a cheap blender and it was a GAME CHANGER so I had to share it with you guys!
Start with liquid and spinach or kale first. For some reason I always started with liquid and fruit and then added spinach. Trust me on this: Adding spinach and liquid first made my life so much easier.
My $30 blender blended like a VitaMix. Amazing!!
Then add your fruit and/or protein powder. Again, it just blended like a dream. I am never going back to my old way.
Pour and enjoy! It was a simple switch in process, but it made everything so much easier. I'm making smoothies so much more again now that I don't have to take 10 minutes trying to get my fruit to mix and then my spinach.
