Fit Friday!

Week one of my new lifestyle is underway. I am 31 now so it was the perfect opportunity to start. I feel I have the mental part of weight loss down. I'm happier. More confident. More content than I've ever been with where I am in life. I couldn't say that when I was at my goal weight before. I still thought I was fat and I was still painfully insecure. Now that I'm mentally healthy I'm ready to be physically healthy!

The stats this week:

Pounds Lost: 4 pounds
To Go: 53 to go

My workout schedule has looked like this:

Monday - T25 Cardio
Tuesday - T25 Speed 1.0
Wednesday - T25 Total Body Circuit
Thursday - T25 Ab Intervals
Friday - T25 Cardio
Saturday - T25 Lower Body

I really like it! I'm following the schedule, but I don't do two workouts on Friday. I split them between Friday and Saturday. On Sundays I substitute T25 Stretch for just rest/walk Manny. I love that it's only 25 minutes. Insanity was so hard to maintain because it was SO LONG. I guess it wouldn't have been as difficult if I didn't want to walk Manny in the mornings too, but that is important to me. The 25 minute workout is a perfect balance with walking Manny, doing my devotional all before I head to work. I love getting my workout done before work! I know myself and I will not workout when I get home from home. It just won't happen. I am too tired and hungry.

I set up a few guidelines for myself to stay on track:
  • Eat unprocessed food as much as possible
  • Eat a fruit and/or veggie at every meal
  • No carbs after 3 p.m.
  • Have a protein shake for breakfast or lunch at least three times a week
  • Follow T25 for the full 10 weeks
  • Take before and after pictures at the beginning, middle and end of the program
  • Cook at least three a week
I am currently obsessed with Jimmy John's unwich. I seriously don't even miss the bread. I know, I can't believe I just said that either. It's only 470 calories for the Beach unwich and it is seriously so amazing and so filling.

How are you guys doing? Anyone else love the unwhich? Anyone else doing T25?

I loved T25... but let me tell you - do the stretch video - I put it off for weeks & I wish I would have done it - it feels so good!

sounds like a great plan to me! I've never tried the unwich, but I might have to! Of course, I LOVE Jimmy John's bread!

Good luck! I have a question - and I'm sure it's too personal, but - what weight do you consider your goal weight? I'm just starting my weight loss journey, and I'm reading a few different blogs for inspiration...thanks!
