Fit Friday!

This week was hard. The temptation just seemed overwhelming and every night was a battle against temptation. I’m so dramatic, but it really felt like that this week. UGH. I get so overwhelmed with the temptation I mentally give up and think, “I guess I’ll just always be fat.” I hate when I let myself go there. Luckily, I snapped out of it mid-week and got back into meal planning and back on track. Reading a Weight Watchers magazine really helped me refocus on goals again.

The stats this week:

Pounds Lost: 0 pounds
To Go:40

So I maintained and I'm pleased with that. I didn't gain. I'm holding steady at 5 pounds lost. I know this week was tough and full of temptation. No harm, no foul. I'm motivated again and ready to have a loss next week!

Here are my workouts for the week:

Sunday – 3 mile walk
Monday – 60 min of yoga
Tuesday – 3.5 mile walk
Wednesday – Cardio Max and 3.5 mile walk
Thursday – 3.5 mile walk
Friday – The Shred Level 1 and 3.5 mile walk
Saturday – Ripped in 30

Most notable this week was Kraft Spinach Pie. It turned out pretty fantastic if I do say so myself and made a great breakfast the next day.

I'm pretty obsessed with these Special K Sausage Egg and Cheese Flat bread Sandwiches for lunch every day paired with carrots and an apple. I switched up my breakfasts this week too and have been having chocolate covered almonds with a hard boiled egg.

How are you all doing? How do you get out of a funk and back on track with your weight loss goals?

I made those breakfast sandwiches you posted/pinned a few weeks ago! Great low-ish cal breakfast. I used egg whites, the thin sliced/45 cal cheese, and turkey sausage on an English muffin. I thought they were really good and cheap and easy to make! Just a little challenging to get the pan of eggs in the oven without spilling.

I think what got me out of the rut was really cleaning up my eating. I ate a lot of processed food and even if I kept it at or under 1200 calories, I still couldn't lose the weight. When I started eating cleaner, the weight started melting off.
