Weekend Recap in Pictures

Garth and I had Friday off of work because I had an eye appointment in Royal Oak. It's about an hour drive from our home and after getting four eye drops in each eye it is probably not wise for me to drive. So Garth and I made it our day of fun and after the appointment we headed to downtown Royal Oak.

We went to Barnes and Noble for some Starbucks and reading.

It is one of my favorite things to do with Garth. In fact, we did this on our first date!

After about an hour and a half we headed to Bastone Brewery for lunch and a brew.

I highly recommend the Harvest Brew. It was delicious.

The food was delicious too. I got the fish and chips with artichoke tartar sauce. Ahhhh-mazing! After lunch we walked around for a bit and then we rented Ruby Sparks per my parents' recommendation  and I really liked it a lot.

Saturday we went to our friends' daughter's first birthday party. The theme was Winter ONEderland, how cute is that?

There was a hot chocolate bar:

A desserts table:

And the beautiful birthday girl:

Seriously, how beautiful is her dress?!

Good times. On Sunday I woke up with a horrible headache so I pretty much laid around in pajamas all day long and it was glorious. How was your weekend?
