Thirteen on Thursday

1. I purchased a new pair of glasses from Coastal and my first pair was free! A $97 discount, thank you very much. Claim this offer too if you are in the market. It is a great deal. I chose this pair:

2. Okay, don't laugh at me but I love the E! reality show Ice Loves Coco. They are a cute couple and have a pretty mature marriage relationship which did surprise me.

3. I'm also loving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. My guilty pleasure show, for sure. It's fun to see how the other half live, though I do not envy these women. The pressure they are under to look good and the money they spend on ridiculous things is just not my thing. I'm perfectly happy with the home I have, the people I surround myself with, and a happy marriage. I wouldn't trade any of that for their lives.

4. I am a two tea bags kinda girl. I thought this was normal. Why would you drink green tea without lemon zinger?!

5. There was snow on my deck this morning. Disgusting! The only good thing about winter is soup. I love soup so much. My office is pretty cold too which means I live off soup for lunch everyday and sip hot tea all day long.

6. I am trying so hard to not listen to any Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, but it is hard. I caved and listened to Mariah Carey on my commute home. But no more! I will patiently wait until the Friday after Thanksgiving to put up the tree and give in to my Christmas music Pandora playlist.

7. Monday night while Garth was watching a football game I was browsing houses on Trulia. I love my house and have no intention of moving for a very long time, but I still enjoy looking at our "future house." Though unless we move out of Michigan I'm certain we'll live in this house until we retire down south... on the ocean to be exact. Does anyone else browse homes even though they have no intention of moving? Or is it just me?

8. I love this so much. It made me smile big:

9. Garth had a dream...errr nightmare... that I cheated on him. Of course, it was just a dream and I would NEVER do that! I'm madly in love with that boy and we are serious, but he was mad at me! I had to remind him it didn't actually happen!

10. I had to ban myself from Law and Order because I was having nightmares. It probably wasn't good for me to see women getting attacked anyways. I about freaked out on an elevator alone with a stranger in Chicago because of an episode I had seen. It was time to turn it off. Good news! I found a new crime fighting, murder mystery show I can handle, CSI. The best part? Garth will watch it with me! Love it.

11. We had our second annual Friendsgiving and it was such a blast. It was quite the feast with good friends. KFC chicken (for the sake of tradition), sweet potoates, red skin potatoes (there is no such thing as too many potatoes!), cranberries, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.

Delicious meal with great fellowship. Can't wait to do it again next year!

12. I am currently scanning deals on Groupon and Living Social for our anniversary trip next year. I have my eye on this Cocoa Beach deal.

13. Vacation planning should be fun, and it is usually is. But Garth and I are so indecisive we just go back and forth and weigh all our options, read an exhaustive amount of reviews before finally choosing. If you have a favorite vacation spot in or around Florida I would love to hear about it!

RHOBH is my favorite!!! I love Lisa!!! & Kyle!.. & Mauricio!!! :)

My husband had a dream the other night we were in a plane crash & he is STILL talking about it like it was real!!

I'm just learning about different flavors of tea - we actually went into Teavana & they were explaining how to mix them up together. Interesting stuff!

I'm totally checking out that free glasses site, thank you! And even if they are still thick, they'd be plenty cheaper! I want to watch Ice Loves Coco, side note, her butt is crazy, do you think it's real??
