So I’m on level 3 now of Ripped in 30 and it is intense. I really like it though. My legs are on fire today! But it feels so good. I don’t think it is as hard as level 2 because there aren’t as many plank moves, but still difficult nonetheless.
I’ve been working out in the mornings now and I like it so much better! It is hard to wake up at 5:30 every morning, but I drink my coffee first and then work out at 6:00. I like getting it over with and cooking again while Garth runs after work. I have missed cooking. I can’t believe I just said…er…typed that. Who am I?!
I have vegetable lasagna cooking in the crock pot for dinner tonight. It sounds good – whole wheat lasagna noodles, ricotta, skim mozzarella, zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, oh my! What is not to love about that?!
My brother started his new job in Chicago today. This was how they welcomed him, love it!

This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday night we rented The Adventures of Tintin and it was really good. The animation was crazy! I seriously did not think it was animated at times. Unreal! Saturday Garth went to the park and ran eight miles. EIGHT. The longest he has run to date. I am extremely proud of him. I went to a friend’s baby shower with the girls from small group. It had to be the cutest baby shower I have ever been to. Everything was so well thought out and there were so many cute pinterest ideas in the decoration and food and games. So fun! Saturday night was spend relaxing on the couch reading Real Simple and sipping a glass of white wine. Perfection.
Sunday we went to church with friends to meet my parents and sister-in-law. We are in a new series at church and the stage set looks incredible.
After church we went out to lunch and it was great to talk, catch-up, and laugh. Then we ran errands, rented a couple movies and relaxed.
I had wanted to watch The Muppets for a while now, but Garth was really against it. He finally gave in and we rented it. We both loved it. It was seriously so funny! We find ourselves quoting it all the time now. It had such a great cast and the message was awesome. Go rent this! We also watched We Bought a Zoo. It was a great movie, but very sad. I was crying through a lot of the movie, but definitely worth watching for sure. It is an amazing story!
I have a craving to paint something again. I miss not having a house project on the horizon. And landscaping hardly counts because it is just not that enjoyable to me. Though we are planning on planting a garden this year which should be interesting.

I think you attend the same church as my friend as she posted a picture from church with the same set up.
I'm trying so hard to do early morning workouts before work but it's really tough!
