The Real Housewife of Michigan

I got to play housewife for a week while Garth went to work each day. I took the week off and it was amazingly restful, productive, and fun.

I saw Wicked and it was incredible! I loved everything about it - the music, the costumes, the set, the theater. LOVE.

I did some reading.

I got to do some decorating with my new Chrismas presents:

I reorganized all the closets and kitchen cupboards.

I caught up on my daytime talk shows.

I went shopping and used Christmas gift cards to purchase a new winter jacket from Target and a crockpot (my old one died last week) from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I made a killer chili in my beautiful new crockpot yesterday too.

I spent some time with an old friend at her new apartment and had a Twilight marathon.

Watched Manchester United with Garth.

Went to a small group New Years Party. Watched Michigan State win a bowl game!!! Made beer cheese soup. Spent New Years Day with my brother and sister-in-law and their adorable pups. Slept in. Took down Christmas decorations.

Ahhh bliss! It was a great week off and now I'm rejuvinated, relaxed, and ready to start the new year!:)

Nice! You got a lot done! Saw your parents on the 26th and they told me about all the Manchester United stuff they got Garth. Too funny!

I watched that same bowl game because I'm a huge Dawgs fan. It was a great game. You guys deserved to win. We played horrible!

I learned about Wicked while visiting family in Tennessee in October. I. NEED. TO. SEE. IT! Also, taking vacation and doing nothing but enjoying your home and down time is sometimes the bomb!

Happy New Year!
