Fit Friday!

I'm down another pound this week. I'm starting to think the South Beach Diet is just not for me. It's working great for Garth so he will continue to stay on it. Personally, I think it's too much of a sacrafice with too little results.

I do think I lost inches that are not reflecting on the scale. My jeans are very loose and my stomach is looking flat. But I miss my carbs. These two weeks were extremely hard for me, espeically since I didn't see the results I thought I would. I lost 20 pounds last year eating carbs so I can do it again. I just need to be patient and keep doing what I am doing. I have created good habits on the South Beach that I plan to continue, but I will incorporate good carbs again.

I also thought it would be a good idea to make an exercise schedule since I just do what I feel like each morning right now.

Monday - Treadmill (30 min)
Tuesday - Yoga (30 min)
Wednesday - Shred (30 min)
Thursday - Treadmill (30 min)
Friday - Shred (30 min)
Saturday - Fun excercise. Garth and I usually take long walks on Saturday morning and a bike ride later in the day.
Sunday - Rest day.

You know, I never did the full on South Beach, but I did lower my carb (specifically processed) intake. I saw results similar to yours - flatter stomach, better fitting clothes, etc.

I think you're doing a great job!

I've heard that the South Beach is hard...and as a carb lover I can certainly understand! Sounds like you're still making progress and the workout schedule is definitely a good idea!

I couldn't go 1 day without carbs... I need them in my life! Your schedule looks good- i'm sure Saturday's are the most fun!
