Life Happenings.

1. We had some fun friends over last night for dinner and they graciously gave us some beautiful furniture. We set it up and it looks so good!

2. I'm made this last night for everyone and it was yummy! I can't believe I was so sick about cooking because it went smoothly, the food was delicious, and the company was great.

3. The weather has been in the upper 50s and it is AMAZING. I am so ready for spring!!!! Today is 60 degrees and it makes me smile big.

4. Check out Bamboo Pink by Jude Frances. I am in love with their pieces and I am sure you will be too! Check it out.

5. Garth and I got a fire pit this week for our deck and we are so excited to use it!

6. We had our first successful home project - blinds for the dining room. Pictures to come!

7. We watched The Fighter Tuesday night. I didn't really want to see it but I'm glad I did. It was a great story with a very talented cast.

8. Anyone else watch The Bachelor? I got sucked in towards the end and I blame it on the fact that they went to South Africa. I was so fascinated with the gorgeous scenery and imagining Garth growing up there.

9. I'm so glad Emily won. I really liked her a lot, she is such a sweetheart. I know they are struggling with some big issues right now, but I think that is totally normal for any couple after being through such a crazy situation. I hope they can work through it! Thoughts?

10. I'm getting more responsibility at work and I love it!

11. My heart is just breaking for Japan right now. My thoughts and prayers are with them in this tragic time.

12. Happy St. Patricks' Day!!!

Wait. Hold the phone! I've been reading your blog forever, how did I not know Garth grew up in South Africa. That is seriously cool.

I am totally torn up about Japan. This is probably more so due to one of my good friends from College is from Sendai. Her parents, aunts, uncles, siblings are trapped there and cannot evacuate from the radiation. I check in with her everyday and think about her and her family constantly.

PS I too would have been fascinated about South Africa if I was you!
