We have used the pit almost every night and are enjoying our backyard and quality time together. We made green beer and enjoyed our St. Patrick's Day out on the deck. Our neighbors came over and introduced themselves and gave us a bottle of wine. So gracious! I love our neighborhood.
Want to know a little secret? My intentions were two-fold. While I enjoy the fire pit, part of the reason we got this was because I never have to go camping again. You see, Garth's favorite part of camping is making the fire each night. Now that we have one he has no reason to camp anymore. Muahaha.;)

I love fire pits! you just have to be careful when it rains... It's not fun dumping out a fire-pit-o-water. Plus, if you're not paying attention rust isn't any fun either.

Nicely done! We have a fire pit, but, haven't ever used it because we got it last summer and it's too hot to sit around a fire at night here in Texas summers. But, it's spring. so, I'm hoping it can get some use now before the humidity really kicks in!
