I'm usually a positive person, but I was feeling pretty discouraged this weekend. It has been almost a month since the surgery and I still do not have vision in my right eye. It's discouraging, but I was reminded that God is the Ultimate Healer. He can heal my eye and give me sight in both eyes if he wants. And if he doesn't, I will still praise Him. I am not in control.
I'm finding peace and comfort in Proverbs 3:5 today. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." I don't have to understand, I just have to trust Him because when I am weak He is strong.

Praying for you my friend!
Sorry that you're having a rough time! Proverbs 4:18 is another verse that is great in times like this as well. It is my life verse - its so applicable to so many seasons of life. "For the path of the righteous is like the first gleam of the morning sun, becoming ever brighter until the full light of day."
