A New Start.

Friday was my last day as event coordinator. They had a nice luncheon and I received some very nice cards. I don't think it really hit me that it my last day until I turned in my keys at the end of the day. I will miss the amazing people I worked with, but I know we will stay in touch.
After work my family met us at Chili's for margaritas to celebrate. My dad took a great picture of Garth and I, but I accidentally deleted it. ARGH! We had a nice dinner and then we went back to my parents' house to fold programs and put the guest favors together because my brother is getting married next weekend, YAYAYA!!!

Saturday and Sunday were lazy days while I spent most of the time watching the World Cup with my South African, soccer-obsessed husband. It is really cool that South Africa is the host this year. Garth hasn't been back in 12 years so he hardly recognizes it! It would have been awesome to go this year, but we are in the midst of buying a house. We will go eventually and I cannot wait to see where Garth grew up!
Today I start my new job, eek! I'm really nervous, but excited at the same time. I can't believe I stepped out of my comfort zone like this. It's so unlike me. But it's a brand new start and I'm pumped!
