Weekend Rewind.

Friday night Garth and I went for a walk and then ordered take-out and watched the Tigers game. Saturday I went to a bridal shower with my mom.
The lovely bride-to-be and I:The b2b with her bridesmaids (and brother):After the shower I came home to a spotless apartment. I have the BEST husband. We went for a super long walk and then came home to watch the Derby. We were cheering for Icebox, but was happy he came in second.
Sunday we went to church and out to lunch with the family. Since we were nearby one of our favorite cities we decided to park and walk around. We had to take advantage of the warm weather! We fell in love with the neighborhood we were in because the houses were beautiful and because the subdivision was close to a lovely downtown. The neighborhood was a good mix of mansions and small houses so when we saw an "Open House" sign we got excited. Unfortunately, the house was not in our price range...or even close. We weren't going to go inside, but a couple saw us eying the house and invited us in, joking that we could split the cost. Ha!
We were glad we went in because the house was immaculate.
The front:The kitchen:The living room:The living room wet bar:
The stairway:I adore the sink in the bathroom:The basement:Garth and I have now decided this will be our next, next house. ;)

What a beautiful house! It's always fun to go house shopping. I bought my home 2 years ago, and I'm quite happy with it--but I still love to go to open houses around my neighborhood to get ideas of what else is out there.

Happy hunting!
p.s. You and G should be on House Hunters!

Minnesota Girl

Such a fun weekend and seriously, that house is AMAZING!! I’d even split the price with you on that one. Don’t know how I’d do that but I would, haha!!! And I read the “Best Buy Moment” post and that cracked me up!
