Do you remember the show Dawson's Creek? I was a HUGE fan of the show in high school, and I especially loved Dawson's house. Well, on my way to school each day I would pass a house that kind of resembled the house from the show. As I would drive past I would gawk at the house and swoon over the screened in porch.
All that to say that as I was looking at house listings yesterday and saw THAT exact Dawson Creek type house for sale. For sale! And in our price range!
Our realtor is out of town this week, but we're hoping to go look at it next week. Unfortunately, the house is a foreclosure so we're a bit nervous as to what the condition of the house will be in. But seriously, what are the odds?! I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it would be fun to live in the house I loved growing up.

AHHH I LOVE Dawson's Creek!! I own all the seasons and watch them all the time.. wait.. I sound like a complete loser, scratch that! haha, good luck! You never know with a forclosure, our rent house was in PERFECT condition and they even left a bunch of stuff!
I LOVED Dawson's Creek! And that house is identical to the house on the show! Maybe your not getting your hopes up and it was one of those things that is "meant to be."

Foreclosures aren't necessarily a "bad thing" especially given the recent (and still current) housing situation. Many beautiful (and new!) homes around here went through foreclosure simply because the family couldn't afford the loans. It's a beautiful house!

I think I am one of the world's biggest Dawson's Creek fans! I LOVE Dawson's house, too! It's so beautiful...I would want to like, climb in through the window like Joey if I bought a house like that. Ha! That would be so great if you could get that house, you'll have to keep us posted. I'd love to see pictures! Foreclosure houses can be in bad condition and a pain in the butt, but the price is usually worth the extra hassle!

Very cool! I hope you like it. We've purchased 3 foreclosures, and it's the best thing we've ever done. A little more red tape and tons of work, but they are great houses.
