A few of my favorites.

I've been in a bit of a funk lately. I'm just feeling discontent in some areas of my life, anxious, and stressed. It's been a tough few weeks so I wanted to share a few of the things in my life that make me incredibly happy.

God and His Word are a constant in my life. He keeps me grounded and gives me peace that transcends all understanding (Philipians 4:7). I've been meditating on this verse and really trying to keep this verse in mind.

My amazingly supportive, witty, talented, generous, loving, handsome husband that makes my life complete. I think Kelly Clarkston said it best - my life would suck without you.
Friends and family that are always there to offer hugs, encouragement, laughs, inside jokes, and game nights.

There is SERIOUSLY nothing better than biting into a spoonful of warm gooey macaroni and cheese deliciousness. The world's problems just disappear while I indulge in this incredible, mouth watering concoction.

A "healthy" blueberry muffin?! YES PLEASE! I look forward to waking up to this each morning. Yes, I look forward to breakfast. Don't judge me.

Anything by Jen Lancaster. She is my new favorite author because she is ridiculously FUNNY and real. I am always laughing out loud while reading her books and Garth looks at me like I'm a crazy person but it is soooo worth it.

Thankyou! I was having a pity party day and you reminded me to look for the good and Mac n cheese is soooo good! The verse gave me tears as well so thankyou so much for bringing that back into my mind! I hope you have a blessed day and keep the good ones coming!

I think I might need to read a Jennifer Lancaster book soon-- I keep seeing them mentioned on blogs and everyone seems to love them.

I can so completely relate! To the funk, keeping grounded in the Bible, having a supportive husband, needing good food, and all that stuff. Hang in there girl! We are sooo blessed, even on the hard funky days. <3

Your package should be there any day now, so hopefully that will be a bit of a pick you up. I had to switch the original polish since I wasn't able to locate it here after I had bought one for myself somewhere else. I think you'll still like it.

I love those muffins too!

I appreciate your authenticity. You know, sometimes, we just get down. That's all there is to it. You are to be commended for not beating yourself up for it and deciding to simply combat it with God's word. Hope you see total transformation soon.

Sorry you've been in a funk. :( It sounds like you have a great list of constant happinesses, though, and that's a huge blessing! :) You're a lucky gal.

...and you are not the only one who lives for breakfast. I'd eat breakfast for every meal with delight if it was all there was. :)

Hope you have a great weekend!
