Productive.

This weekend was so good, but it was faster than usual. Friday night Garth and I had our movie date night. This week we watched The Hangover and Inglorious Bastards. I wasn't expecting to like any of these movies, but I loved The hangover. Cracked. me. up. As for the latter movie, well lets just say I couldn't even get through the first ten minutes. It was just too violent for me.

Saturday we went shopping. Yes, you read that right. We went SHOPPING the weekend before Christmas. Insanity. We had a good idea as to what to get everybody so we were in and out relatively quickly. The only stressful part was in the toy store shopping for our niece. That was super crazy and we got really hot and claustrophobic, but we survived. After we finished shopping we went out to lunch and then back home to wrap everything. I felt very productive and accomplished today.

Sunday we went to church and then out to our favorite Mexican restaurant afterwards. Then we just hung out at my parents' house for a bit. For dinner my mom made the most amazing baked shrimp scampi. Then we came back home and Garth watched football while I read my new Fitness magazine.

Now, it's back to the grind, but tonight we're going to see Avatar, yayaya!

Ya'll are brave for shopping this late in the year...those stores are crazy!! :)

Hubby & I are going to see Avatar on Tuesday -- I'm curious to see what we think, since the media is giving it so much hype. Let us know how you like it!

We too watched the same movies Friday night - I liked the Hangover but went to bed after watching about 10 mins of the other... the part where they were slicing heads.. ew.

I saw The Hangover at Wal-Mart this weekend and meant to buy it. We haven't seen it yet. Worth the buy??

We watched the same two movies as you on Friday night ... and I have to say, I agree with you on both counts. The hangover cracked me up (it was actually the 3rd time I watched it) but I could not stand Inglorious Basterds.

I have never braved a toy store the weekend before Christmas, but I like going to all of the other stores because things just get bustling with fun!

I did my Christmas shopping this past weekend too. It wasn't so bad. Isn't it nice to be done?

The Hangover was SO funny. I went shopping yesterday and I agree: total insanity! It's fun though if you go into it with the right attitude. :)
