We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for this year. Our holiday ritual is to spend the morning / early afternoon with Garth's family and then late afternoon / evening with my family.
Garth's mom and sister made the yummiest lamb, avocado salad, potatoes, and green beans. SO good. Here is Lilly and I playing:
Uncle Garth with Lilly:
We had the traditional (but amazingly delicious) fixings at my parents - turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and corn bread. Yum!
Jess (my brother's fiance) and her sweet dog Kodi:The lovely engaged couple:Us:Friday I had breakfast with a good friend who was in town for the weekend. It was nice catching up with her. Then Garth and I were actually brave enough to venture into Best Buy on Black Fridayand upgraded our phones. It was long overdue since my phone only worked on speaker. Obnoxious much? So I am really excited to not have to use speaker anymore and I am obsessed with my tip calculator. I got my phone in blue and Garth got his in black. Cute huh?
Afterwards we went out to lunch at our fave spot, Chili's. That evening we played with our new phones and watched Four Christmases which I was looking forward, but it was disappointing and not funny.
Saturday we grocery shopped at Costco and stocked up for the month and then came home and made lunch. The rest of the day was spent relaxing with a lot of football watching.
Sunday we went to church and then over to my parents house to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had pesto pasta, garlic bread, and bumpy cake. Perfection. It was another great weekend spent with all my favorites.

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving and a good weekend spent with loved ones! Getting new phones is the best! I love getting a new one and learning all of the bells and whistles. We saw Four Christmases in the theater last year. I have to say that I was disappointed by it too. I just thought it was okay.
It sounds like you had such a fun holiday!! The food sounds like it was DELISH!!
I did not like Four Christmases either. Way to crass. Total bummer when I'm such a big fan of Reese!

Sounds like a great holiday!! You will love the new phones, my hubby had one in blue until he dropped it. Oops! And I agree 4 Christmases was kind of a bust! I rented it on in iPod and watched it on the plane....at least it was better than staring at the seat back in front of me!
