Happenings.

1. Garth has been going to the gym on his lunch everyday for the last few weeks and I am so proud of him!

2. We're doing great with another successful week of no take-out. The Biggest Loser cookbook is they key component to our success - the recipes are easy, quick, and don't require that many ingredients.

3. My event is next Tuesday, eek! It's a gala for 450 people and the last minute details stress me out. Why do people register so late?!

4. I've been working out every morning and eating well and I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous, but I really hope the pleateu has come to an end.

5. Looking forward to a chill Halloween at home with a game night and some favorite people.

6. Happy that I can FINALLY put my hair in a pony tail, even if it takes over 20 bobby pins. If there's a will there's a way, right?

7. Mad Abby went home yesterday because I really thought she was going to be The Biggest Loser. But she looks fab!

8. Started doing yoga again and forgot how tough it was. My arms are killing me today.

9. Obsessed with Sophie Kinsella books right now.

10. Excited that one of Garth's co-workers and his gf are moving to our complex. They seem similar to us and I think our dinner date will be a success.

11. Hoping we can attend our church's leadership meeting and become small group leaders.

12. Enjoying the sweater weather and beautiful colors of the fall.

I love Sophie Kinsella books too! I also can relate to the pony tail. Last December I chopped my hair so short and I was so excited when it finally grew long enough to put up again. I just felt more girly with longer hair. My hair is still growing out from that cut.

Way to go with the gym, you guys rock!

Good for you and this commitment to working out! I'm trying really hard, but haven't been feeling well and that makes it twice as hard to feel motivated! Our trip to Hawaii is coming up in January and I'd really like to drop at least 10-ish pounds by then. ... which isn't easy to do around the holidays with all the yummy treats that are around!

I didn't know there was a Biggest Loser cookbook -- I might have to check that out!

Hope the weigh-in is encouraging!

I'm mad that Abby went home too! I think Daniel should have manned up and gone home.

I hope everything goes well for your event. I am (kind of) in event planning too so I know that is stressful. I'd love to know more about your position.

Hope you've broken the plateau!!

Love Sophie Kinsella too! Just found your blog and it's fabulous! You've been to Israel? When? I'm getting married there in May! Look forward to reading more of your blog and following! :) x

Congrats!!!! :)
Don't you feel good about yourself in other aspects also? Just your everyday attitude? It all changes huh? for the good I mean...your more positive and things are just looked at, differ.
Good job!
