I cannot believe summer is over already. I'm so sad to see it go, but the last weekend of summer was perfection. Friday afternoon Garth and I enjoyed one last dip in pool. Friday night we went on a double date with a good friend and his new girlfriend. We went to our favorite Mediterrean restaurant for dinner and then walked around downtown and got ice cream. Good times.
Saturday we spent the day with my family watching football, eating yummy food and we watched our wedding video. So fun! Sunday we went to church and then out to the best Mexican restuarant EVER. Yummy. Garth and I went for a good walk, made dinner together and watched lots of tennis.
Monday we slept in, drank coffee in bed, and watched TV. It was so lazy and perfect. Then we went for a really good walk and then out to meet Garth's sister for a bit. She is so sweet and our niece is just the cutest thing ever. She only has eyes for her Uncle Garth right now, but it is so cute watching her with him. Then we came home and made dinner and watched more tennis.
It was a pretty relaxing weekend and we got to see some really fun people. Of course it went too fast but there are a few things I am looking forward to this fall: Cider mills, caramel apple cider, leaves changing, caramel apples, sweatshirt weather, and did I mention caramel apple cider?
