Switching it up.

A co-worker and I have been accountability partners the last 5 months. We talk every day about our workouts and food intake. It has been such an encouragement to have someone go through the same things with you and to keep you accountable and notice changes. We did the Shred together and then started running at the same time and we have both lost 15 pounds. We have become addicted to Biggest Loser DVDs and rotate them. She is doing my BL Yoga and I am doing her BL Power Sculpt and, oh my word, it is intense! I do it at 6a.m. three times a week and it just does not get easier. My legs and butt ache, and my arms feel like jelly! I thought Jillian was tough, but Bob kills me! The endless squats leave my legs shaking and I am starting to hate push-ups. BUT I keep doing it because I am noticing my arms and legs getting muscular. Even Garth is noticing. On a walk yesterday, I got in front of him since a car was coming and Garth was like "WOW! Your legs look really muscular!"
So, I recommend this video. I think I might even buy it once we trade back. I have only lost a pound, but I did lose 2 inches off my waist! I'm trying to focus more on inches than weight right now since I'm gaining muscle. And thanks for your sweet comments yesterday about my hair and telling me I look skinny. You guys make my day!!!

Way to go girl! You rock. It's so nice to have a friend that is going through the exact same thing so that you do it together ;) Keep up the hard work!

I have always wanted to try both of these things - the Shred and Bob's yoga - as I hear both are SUPER intense. Plus, what a better way to wake up in the morning than with an intense session of yoga? Sounds like a good morning to me! :)

There's no way I'd do all that excercise without an accountability partner!! That's why I end up going to classes... there's no way of chickening out!

It's fantastic that you're seeing results from your hard work :)

Wow... how intense are we talking? Because I'm a total pansy but I want my husband to stop and say "Holy Cow - you look hott!" In a way other than he does now... you know... in a way where I believe him? Yeah. like that.

Two inches?! Wow. That is great. And that is great to have an accountability partner. Maybe I can talk my sister into becoming mine once she moves back.

YAY!! Way to go! I had a mini freak out on the scale yesterday because I've gained some weight, but, you know what, my clothes fit better, and my legs look better than they have in YEARS. So, I'm with you, it's all about inches and how you feel.

Your motivation and dedication is amazing! Please let some of it rub off on me.

You DO look great. It is great to workout with you on the sidelines and watch you shrink and tone! It is a wonderful encouraging thing you got going on here! I've been working out everyday and am finally seeing results!

I will have to get this DVD....I have been debating it, but maybe now it is time to buy it! I need someone to make me accountable. That would probably be the biggest help for me. Good idea on that! I am inspired by your success!
