How Do You Choose a Dentist?

The most reasonable explanation would be to continue going to the one you went to before you were married. Well, our fabulous dentist does not take our insurance anymore and we had to find an alternative. We had no idea how to find a dentist...until a coupon came in the mail offering free dinner and a movie for 2 if you go to their dentist. We were sold. That is how we make grown-up decisions. We can be bought by material things.

Even if I didn't have teeth, I would go to that dentist if they were offering dinner and a movie. You'd be stupid not to.

I think my dentist (as wonderful as he is) should offer me free dinner because of all the referrals I've given to him. LOL!!! XOXO

Sounds like a great way to choose a dentist! My dentist used to be one of my Dad's high school students, and he is really cute! :)

lol..that's the way to go..wine and dine me! :)

I would have done the same thing! Take advantage of the freebie, and then if you don't like him/her after your first cleaning then just ask around for recommendations :)

That is hilarious! We just moved and had to find a new dentist too. We have some friends who go to a dentist who has someone on staff who gives you a hand/arm massage while you're getting your teeth cleaned. Yes, please! That's how we make our grown up decisions...two for the price of one! HA!

LOL! I love it! I went to a super crappy dentist, and then ended up having my endodontist refer me to someone AMAAAAZING after my scary root canal. She has been spectacular. Which is good, since I have been there over 18 times in the last 8 months!

We chose our dentist because they were giving out $400 whitening trays and goop. They also have flat screen tv's in every room with satelite TV/DVDs and they give you monster noise cancelling earphones and sunglasses if you have a lot of work done.

I would not be surprised if that alone totally sold my husband on a dentist too! Anything to get a good deal or something for free :)

I'm all about making adult decisions in the most fun way possible ;)

haha, that's great! I mean you won't know until you try them at least once so you might as well get the goodies! I picked my dentist because his name made me laugh... Dr. Plunkett.

Since he retired when I was 20 you can imagine how long its been since I've been...eek!

I'll be 30 next year...and I don't have dental insurance...just have to have the cash and go in...grr...(:
