Weigh Up!

I have been alternating between the Shred, running and Results Fitness everyday. I haven't been counting calories because I was feeling restricted and just plain sick of writing everything down. So I moderated my portions and made sure I was only eating when I was hungry. Since I haven't been counting calories I was afraid I wasn't losing.
But it's working!! I lost 2 pounds last week and 3 pounds this week! That is 5 pounds in 2 weeks and a grand total of 13 pounds lost!!! I haven't seen that number on the scale since Garth and I had our first date 3 years ago. I went into this whole weight loss thing to lose 10 pounds and I'm over that goal and can hardly believe it!
As it goes, you always want more. more. more, right? Well I'm below my goal and I want to lose another 10. I still don't feel totally comfortable in a bikini yet so I want to lose just another 10 and then I promise I'll be sastisfied and I'll post before and after pictures.
I do better with weight loss when I have motivation. And right now my motivation is looking great in a new dress for a wedding we're going to July 11. So far so good.

Congrats, girl!! That's awesome... as I have always said to my friends when talking about weight loss, just do whatever makes you feel comfortable and happy to exercise, as well as throwing in some healthy, moderate eating that satisfies you and doesn't leave you wanting, and all those pounds will be easy to get rid of! Some people make it too much of a rigid science. I'm glad you're doing what makes YOU happy. :)

Congrats again on the weight loss! And good luck for July 11th... I'll be pulling for ya! :)

Good work, lady! You're totally motivating me to be better about what I eat and not rely on running alone...

Congrats! That is awesome. I use SparkPeople.com when counting calories - it makes it so easy and you don't have to write anything down.

Oh yay for you! I kind of fell off my exercise the last few weeks, but I'm trying to get back on with motivation using our trip at the end of July. I got tired of tracking my calories so closely as well, but I just need to be more aware again of what I'm putting into my body. Anyway, I'm so happy for you!

Congrats girl!!! YAYAY!! I'm still battling staying at my goal weight. I got under it (yahoo!) back in April, but, honestly, I wasn't eating enough and I wasn't running nearly as much as I do now, so, it's a hard balancing act for me, but, I'm working on it.

Congrats to you!!

Is Results Fitness a gym?!?

Mrs EyeCanSee said...

That's awesome! I could use a little of that motivation myself. Since the wedding the scale has done nothing but go up, so I just stopped looking at it. haha. I did just buy the 30 day shred...so hopefully jillian can whip me into shape!

Congrats!!!!I wish I had your dedication to working out! I was only dedicated in high school when I had a swim coach screaming at me to push harder and again in college when I disliked this one girl and wanted to have a "better body" then she did - talk about shallow!

Doesn't it feel AWESOME when your clothes are loose, rather than tight? Ahhhh...I miss that! I lost 30 lbs after my last baby but am preggo again so can't lose right now. Come September, I will be back on the bandwagon. I'm really interested in what you say about The Shred, as I won't be able to run outside for the first few months after the baby due to weather. Would you recommend it? Have you ever tried EA Active for the Wii? I have heard good things about that, too, and am deciding what to get as a post-baby treat for myself.
