We move in 26 days and I have not even begun to pack.
We have decided not to decorate since we are moving two days after Christmas - BUMMER.
I have not done laundry in two weeks.
I blame the cold and snowy weather. It makes me not want to do anything but cuddle under the blankets! Which is exactly what I did last night. Garth brought home sushi and we cuddled and watched "Hancock." Perfect evening.
I will start packing and doing laundry tomorrow. I did clean and unpack from Florida so that was productive, right?

I have been in some what of the same mood. I blame mine on wine! :o)
It's okay to take a break every now and then. I totally procrastinate when I feel overwhelmed. Maybe try making a list of the things that need to be done and start at the top of the list. Check things off as you get them accomplished and it will keep you on track. Good luck!
I would choose sushi, cuddling and a movie any day of the week! and there will be many christmases for decorating!
You were productive enough!!! And quality time with the hubby is better than laundry any day :-)
Yum sushi; how is that movie? I haven't watched it yet?
Trust me - it is okay to not always be productive. I also agree that I think it is harder when it is cold out. Anyway, I hope you get all packed up in time, but don't stress too much - it's Christmas! My sis is also moving right after Christmas - so I know it is probably a litte stressful. By the way, did you like Hancock? I thought it was kind of flat.
I love it. Sometimes I love just forgetting about al I have to do. If you don't think about it, it doesn't exist, right? lol
I know how you feel, when it gets cold I am pretty much useless! :-) I can't believe you saw a Chick Fila and you didn't eat there!!!!
Snuggling up and staying cozy sounds great! Maybe you can choose to do a bit of mini decorating to still enjoy the spirit of Christmas, if not, there will be many more to go all out! Stay warm! :)
No judgement coming from this direction.
What is it they say, she who has a clean house should cast the first stone??? or was it a glass house?
It doesn't matter, I suppose. =)
That's the way I feel! I have GOT to clean my house and finish decorating, but instead my house is dirty and I have boxes of decorations sitting in the living room. Oh well!
i think it is the cold weather... warm foods and the season.. no time to cook, clean, pack etc:)
happy day friend!
Cleaning and unpacking after a trip is the hardest... so you deserve a big break. :)
haha anytime! Wouldn't that be so fun! I looooooove shopping.. but more so I love seeing my girlfriends faces light up once they try on that perfect outfit
I think it was productive, I cleaned, but have yet to unpack from our weekend trip...the suitcase is taunting me
Sounds like a perfect evening! Why clean and pack when you can snuggle!!!
I love being all snuggly when it's cold outside!!
Are you moving within the same town/city? Because I did a few months ago and found that I didn't need to pack EVERYTHING, like clothes, because I could just take them out of the closet, leave them on the hanger, and throw them in the back of my car. Hope your move goes well!
I havent bought anything for Christmas either! Don't stress was Hancock good? Johnny has been wanting to rent it just wandering.
Hey, the Christmas decorations in my room include two Eeyores in Santa costumes, and that is it. It's definitley enough to sit back and relax! Somtimes the best thing for a girl is a cuddle with her guy :)
I am so glad that you had such a great Thanksgiving!!! Great pics! Seriously, the one with the street sign - you should definitely get that framed! It's adorable!!
That is RIGHT...sometimes I do my best work "under the gun"!
-sandy toes
I wish it was snowy here. :(
If it's the snowy weather that makes you unproductive, it must be the lack of snowy weather that makes me unproductive. Whatever the reason, I've definitely fallen down on my wifey duties lately.
Very productive, I'm proud of you =)
Good luck packing for your move!! :) And you are def. not the only one who hasn't started their Christmas shopping! :) We both need to get on that - asap! :)
I feel ya girl! I have SO been there! Try and take a bubble bath tonight!
I hear you.. sometimes i feel that way too.. and moving is such a huge task... HOWEVER... think of the fabulous new place you will live in, the chance to "start fresh" in each room... :)
that's always great fun!
wishing you a productive day tomorrow!
Down time is imperative for every gal. Enjoy it. You have a lot on your plate.
I think snuggling with your hubby is more in tune with what the holiday season is all about, rather than running around shopping and hectic packing. You need to take a break every once in a while!
You better get busy....I only have 3 or so people left and already know what to get them!
