Random Musings (Monday Edition)

1. Friday we had a snow day - yayaya! The perks of working at a school. =)
2. Saturday night we had some friends over for a game night and I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time.
3. We are not moving anymore. It's kind of a long story, but it's really for the best.
4. I am all unpacked and reorganized.
5. We decided to decorate for Christmas and I love it.
6. I have all the Christmas shopping done, wrapped and under the tree. This was done a week before Christmas - new record!
7. Yesterday we played cards with my family for five hours straight, it was awesome!
8. Church rocked my socks off last night and despite a hard week, I have peace and joy that only comes from having faith and trust in my Savior.
9. I really really really want a dog right now. I have always wanted one, but it's getting bad how much I want one.
10. I am so excited to have a week and a half off work! I plan to go to the gym for at least an hour every. single. day.
11. Garth and I celebrated our ten months at this delish Mediterrean restaurant.
12. My work is treating us to Bahama Breeze for lunch today - SO EXCITED. It's sad how excited I get about food sometimes, really.
13. Garth and I are still undecided about New Year's Eve. We might treat ourselves to this gorgeous hotel we stayed at for our wedding night. What are your plans?
14. I had thai food twice this weekend and it was amazing.
15. It is 10 degrees with a wind chill that makes it feel like negative ten. I want to move down south.
16. With Love from New Orleans tagged me to go to my pictures and choose the fourth folder and fourth picture in that folder. If you have not checked out her blog, please do! I love her! She is so sweet and we are so alike! Here is my picture, dancing at a wedding this past summer:

I tag YOU.

I am so jealous of your snow day. The entire town was shut down except for the university I worke at, cause they don't close down for anything.

I'm pretty sure even in the apocalypse they'd maybe cancel night classes. Maybe.

What a great weekend! I'm glad that you guys get to enjoy a little Christmas cheer in your apt this week. Now, about the dog. Think long and hard about how difficult it is to go out of town when you have a dog. We have 3 dogs, and they keep us tied down. I love them, but boy, they are a LOT of work! We didn't really consider that beforehand.

Ok I am so jealous that you work at a school and have snow days! Why wasn't I a teacher?!?!?!

Second, it is freezing cold here too. Last night and today have just been down right bitter - the wind is just terrible.

And third, I really wish I had the time off you do around the holidays! Work out a little for me too ok?!?!?!

I wish I got snow days. I live so close to work that I was basically told I would have to come in because if it snowed everyone else would be stuck! Oh well. I hope you have an awesome Christmas!!!!!

So jealous of your snow! I'm a Georgia girl, so snow is a very rare thing around here!

Do you think you will get a puppy any time soon? If so, you have to post a ton of pictures! I have 3 dogs, but I wish I had a dozen! I love my puppies so much!

So jealous of your snow day! Puppies are fun but a lot of work. I wanted one so bad and I love him he's just more trouble than a kid would be...I think.

Yay for snow days!! I hope you all can get a dog soon!!..Sadie has been so much fun for us to have, but she is a lot of work..and we can't take long day trips without making sure someone can take her out. You should totally treat yourselves to a nice hotel for New Years..that sounds fun!!

I love your random musings. We are still trying to decide what to do for New Year's. All of our friends have babies now, so no one wants to go out. :(
