Life Lately

Oof. It's been so cold here. Manny and I miss our walks. It's been a lot of cozy nights in by the fire under blankets reading or watching Parks and Rec.

Even in the cold temps I am digging a little Halo Top for dessert. So good.

Last week we had G's work party. It was so much fun to see friends and catch up. It was also our first time out of the house since recovering from the flu so it was extra nice to join the land of the living again.

Before the flu hit we had a lot of fun decorating our master bedroom. It was one of the first rooms I wanted to tackle since it was the most neglected room at our last house. It feels like a hotel and that is exactly the look I was going for. Also? Having a King bed is life changing. This bed is so comfortable and I love having so much extra space to sleep. As someone who was known for kicking or punching G in the face during sleep, this is a marriage lifesaver. 

G had a customer in last week and he had never had Mexican food. We took him to our favorite place and he couldn't believe the drinks were as big as his head, ha! He also could not get enough fajitas and so I think we have a new Mexican food fan!

Biggby has a new cinnamon latte that I am obsessed with. Give me all the cinnamon. This cup also made me extremely happy. 

So that's life lately. Recovering from the flu. Decorating the master bedroom. Cinnamon lattes. Mexican food. Work party. Life is good.
