Just because you are hosting, doesn't mean that you have to serve a traditional meal.<br /><br />However...I would also say that some guests may not like white meat of the turkey. I personally prefer dark meat or a leg. Just something to consider.<br /><br />Lastly, you can buy a turkey that has all the innards in a bag. I usually throw that stuff in the trash!!<br /><br />Good luck....I did my first Thanksgiving two years ago (and now every year after that) and as long as you are organized, you will be fine.
