Life Lately: Week 31 (Part 2)

If you missed part one you can check it out here.

On to part two/last half of the week of our amazing family vacation in Charlevoix.

My dad took this picture first thing in the morning.

So calm and peaceful.

Coffee on the porch.

Benny on the dock.

Breakfast of champions.

Ella and Bennett loved the swings.

I loved listening (and watching) the loons.

Welcome to Charlevoix!

We walked around the farmers market in town.

And walked around the harbor to check out the boats (and yachts).

You have GOAT to be kidding me!

Sweet Benny smiles.

Posing with hydrangeas as big as their heads.

Waiting for a table at The Landing isn't bad when this is the view.

Her future is so bright she's gotta wear shades.

Meanwhile, Manny was watching the rain.

Living our best life sitting outside watching the boats and ferry go by.

The tartar sauce is the best ever because it had capers in it.

We left full and happy.

I swam in the lake with the kiddos.

We went to dinner at Weathervane.

The morel and leek mac and cheese was my favorite meal of the trip.

The sparkle on the lake is my favorite.

More yard games were played.

Bonfire time.

Another glorious sunset.

Such a great night with some of my favorite people ever.

The moon was so bright the lake sparkled at night.

Our dog sitter said his dog doesn't like many dogs, but let Manny cuddle and kiss her.

Aww, melt my heart!

Sweet Benny.

Lunch with this view at Vintage Chophouse.

"A girl should be two things: who and what she wants" -Coco Chanel-

The Petoskey Stone Sour was the prettiest and tastiest drink of the trip.

These two though.

Ella's drink had that pretty butterfly pea flower too.

Twinsies.

The kids had fun exploring the grounds and playing life sized checkers.

My mom and I shared the club sandwich with truffle fries.

Another day, another selfie.

We spent the afternoon floating.

For dinner we stayed in and ate appetizers.

And wine tasted!

Wine #2.

Wine #3.

Wine #4.

Meanwhile Manny snoozed in the screened porch.

The start of another great sunset.

Pop of pink.

Mushroom house!

We checked out the dunes at Mt McSauba.

Action shot.

Lake Michigan is the prettiest.

Selfie with my love.

My dad captured this gem.

Jess raved about the lobster roll so we went back to The Landing to try it.

The verdict? It lived up to the hype.

Our trip was filled with all of the above.

Floating is all I wanna do.

My dad caught this action shot of G tossing Jess a beer (and she caught it!).

Cheers to a fantastic weekend!

Last bonfire of the trip.

Goodbye loons!

Mimosa to celebrate an epic vacation full of great memories.

Rainy, dreary drive home.

Benny drew a picture of our cabin, aw!

Manny was happy to be home.

Rainy Sunday on the porch.
