Life Lately: Week 29

This is what the past week looked like.

"Let us come alive to the splendor that is all around us, and see the beauty in ordinary things." Thomas Merton

Nachos with friends.

Sweet summertime.

My sweet co-worker shares my love for Aldi and gave me this awesome quarter holder.

Love it!

Fresh flowers in the kitchen make me happy.

Happy hour!

Morning quiet time.

Lunch with a sweet friend.

Summer skies.

Manny can't handle the heat.

Chicken burrito bowl deliciousness.

Deck sitting is my favorite.

I hate weeding even with cute gloves.

Cheese bread!

This book was stupid and I do not recommend it.

Sunrise.

Sunset.

Still not over this sunset.

Pool day with my mom.

We had the best time. We swam, ate lunch, swam, and jumped in the pool like little kids.

It was a great day.

My drive home, however, was crazy.

I passed four accidents and drove through two torrential downpours.

It has been HOT here in Michigan.

I'm staying cool though.

Pies before guys.

Storm rolling in.

It's raining, it's pouring.

Popcorn and Stranger Things.

It's my favorite season yet.

Happiness is homemade.

Long live summer.

Coffee on the front porch watching the rain.

Churchin' it.

Walking around Reotown.

Brunch? Yes, please!

I didn't choose the brunch life, the brunch life chose me.

Take a look around - this is Old Town.

Grand River.

Summer sunset.

Chicken and cauliflower rice with hummus is a new favorite dinner around here.
