Life Lately: Week 23

This is what the past week looked like.

Sweet summertime.

Burrito bowl deliciousness.

Farmers Market season has begun...

Which means local honey is back in my life!!!

Have you tried honey in your coffee? LIFE. CHANGING.

I joke that Aldi always has just what I need.

This was the case a few weeks ago. G mentioned needing a storage unit for our outdoor furniture cushions since we were getting so much rain.

I went to Aldi the next day and they had one! It's awesome and has kept our cushions completely dry.

Grilled broccoli is the best way to eat broccoli in my opinion.

Another favorite from Aldi lately is their guacamole.

OMG so good!

Don't worry, Manny. You aren't in the way at all.

New nails.

My backyard view never gets old.

G and I were on the deck and it started pouring so we grabbed our cushions and ran inside.

Manny decided to sit on them while we waited out the rain, ha!

I used Kate's thoughtful bridesmaid gift for a weekend up north with one of my best friends.

"There's nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find ways in which you yourself have changed." Nelson Mandela

Cheers to the freakin' weekend and sunny and 80 degree weather (finally)!!

Love her.

Taco night!

Cute pupper.

I did a lot of floating and swimming this weekend and it was so good for the soul.

Breakfast of champions.

"I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end." James Taylor

But the sunny days did end.

Sunday rained all day long.

Deb was such a good friend and floated in the lake in the rain with me for a bit before the wind picked up and it was too cold.

A rainy day calls for a good beer.

I sat on the covered porch all afternoon listening to the rain fall and reading a good book.

Perfection.
