A look back at 2009.

I cannot believe it is the last day of 2009. Where does the time go? As I look back at this year I can say we were incredibly blessed and are excited to see what 2010 will bring. Lets look at some of the highlights, shall we?

1. We celebrated our first year of marriage in February with a trip up north to a beautiful and romantic hotel for a week of quality time, yummy food, wineries, and hikes.
2. We started eating better and exercising and Garth lost 10 pounds this year and I lost 16 pounds.
3. Garth became a citizen of the U.S. on Memorial Day and it was quite the experience to watch him pledge his allegiance to this country.
4. My brother proposed to his longtime girlfriend and we could not be more excited for them!!
5. Garth did it AGAIN by surprising me with an incredible birthday getaway.
6. We moved to a bigger apartment and we are loving having a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and being close to work.
7. We joined a small group and have met some of the nicest, most fun people and we are excited to see how God will continue to work in our small group next year.
8. Garth was promoted at work and I could not be more proud of him.
9. We carved our first pumpkins and Garth tried pumpkin seeds for the first time.
10. I became a blonde and a redhead.
